The social media has gone berserk with the new trending name ‘Binod.’ The word is now seen everywhere on the Internet. The word was among the top trends on Twitter in India with over 50k tweets. And the fad has increased so much that Paytm changed its name to Binod on Twitter.

A user tweeted to the company and challenged them to change its name. And guess what? The company accepted the challenge and proudly flaunted about it.

Check out the post:

It all started with a video posted by YouTube channel Slayy Point. In the video, the presenters Abhyudaya and Gautami decided to explore the comments section on Indian YouTube channels.

In the video titled Why Indian Comments Section is Garbage (BINOD), they called out bizarre comments on YouTube videos. That’s when they stumbled upon a comment dropped in by a user named Binod Tharu. “Binod,” that’s what his comment read. Yes, just that single word. The particular comment also had several likes on it.

The video by Slayy Point went viral and then several India YouTube content creators noticed Binod being written all over their comments section. And now, netizens have now started a meme fest all over.

For the uninitiated, YouTube channel Slayy Point has updated the description of their account saying, “Founder of BINOD. Hello, Binod Army”.
