No Change in Fuel Prices Despite Global Oil Surge

The major cities maintain constant fuel prices because international crude oil prices have risen sharply.

Brent crude experienced a significant price increase when geopolitical issues developed in West Asia.

The current price of Crude Oil WTI futures is 73.78, with a previous close of 74.56. The rise in international crude oil prices matters significantly for India because the country imports nearly 88% of its crude oil requirement.

Brent crude, the world’s key oil benchmark, has climbed close to USD 80 per barrel, reflecting growing uncertainty in the region. Meanwhile, US crude futures jumped 8.6% to USD 72.79, up from roughly USD 67 recorded last Friday.
