Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to formally open the permanent campus of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bodh Gaya on Tuesday. Accompanying him for the occasion is Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary.

According to an institute press release, IIM Bodh Gaya, which was founded in 2015 with 30 students in its inaugural class and is affiliated with the Ministry of Education, currently boasts an enrolment of more than 1,110 students hailing from 293 cities and 26 states.

The Bodh Gaya campus features, in addition to intelligent classrooms, a library called “Pragyata” that is equipped with Open Source Software for resource management and a sports complex that offers badminton, basketball, football, and cricket facilities in addition to contemporary fitness centers. An additional feature of the permanent campus is a medical center and four residence structures for faculty and staff.

In addition to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Management Development Programs (MDP), the institute supports ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ and has educated more than three thousand micro-entrepreneurs through these endeavors.
