Post-Holi Skincare Guide: Playing with colors and enjoying delectable dishes with friends and family is the perfect way to spend this holiday. Despite the fact that playing with colors is fun, its side effects can be harmful.

Holi colors may contain harmful and harsh chemicals that may cause skin irritants, allergies, or temporary stains. Here are some skincare tips to ensure you have a skin-friendly Holi.

Post-Holi skincare tips

You should remove as much colour as possible before beginning any cleansing routine.

Massage your body with oil

Use coconut oil, almond oil, or any other gentle oil all over your body, especially in areas where color has settled. Massage gently for a few minutes to loosen the particles.

Make sure you clean well

To remove the oil and remaining color from your skin, wash with a mild, pH-balanced cleanser. Gently massage the cleanser onto your face and body.

Make sure you stay hydrated

Use a hydrating moisturizer that contains hyaluronic acid or glycerin to replenish your skin’s hydration levels after cleansing.

Mask your face

Try a soothing face mask containing aloe vera, cucumber, or oatmeal if your skin feels dry.

Before playing with colors, apply moisturizer and sunscreen to your face. Never scrub your face harshly to remove colors.
