Punjabi singer Singga reveals Diljit Dosanjh donated Rs 1 crore to buy winter-wear for protesting farmers

Singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh has secretly donated Rs. 1 Crore for the warm garments and other needy factors for farmers who are protesting at the border of Delhi, in this harsh winters. This news was revealed by Punjabi singer, Singga with his fans.

Singga revealed that the actor made the generous donation and chose not to make a “big deal” out of it. The money will reportedly be used to buy woollen clothes and blankets for the elderly farmers who are currently braving the harsh winter in the national capital to continue their protest against the farm laws.

Diljit Dosanjh was spotted at Singhu border in the National Capital Region (NCR), extending support to the farmers agitating against the three new farm laws brought in by the central government.

Diljit urged the government to accept the demands of the farmer.

“I want to urge the government to accept the demand of farmers. I would also like to urge the media to support us, these farmers are sitting peacefully with their demands, please show that and support us,” Diljit said, addressing the farmers and the media.

After addressing the crowd in Punjabi, Diljit shared his views in Hindi and said: “(I am) Talking in Hindi so you don’t have to Google.”
