Rachit Prints IPO subscribed 1.59x on day 3: Retail portion booked 2.11x

Rachit Prints IPO: Rachit Prints Limited launched its IPO on Monday, September 1, and the issue will close on Wednesday, September 3. The price band for each equity share is set between ₹140 and ₹149, with a face value of ₹10. Investors must apply for at least 1,000 shares and can bid further in multiples of 1,000. Khambatta Securities is acting as the exclusive book-running lead manager for the IPO, while Maashitla Securities is handling the registrar work.

The company is well known in the mattress fabric industry. It makes many kinds of specialty fabrics like knitted, printed, warp knit, and pillow fabrics, along with binding tape. Rachit Prints also trades comforters and bedsheets.

The firm follows a B2B model, selling directly to businesses who either resell or use the fabrics for manufacturing. Some of the popular brands that use its products are Sleepwell, Kurlon Enterprises, and Prime Comfort Products. The company also enjoys support from the Ministry of Textiles under the Revised Technology Upgradation Fund Scheme, which gives capital investment subsidies to textile firms, reported Mint.

In its financial record, the company showed strong growth. In FY25, it earned ₹41.70 crore in revenue and made a profit of ₹4.56 crore. This was a jump compared to the previous year when revenue was ₹37.08 crore and profit was ₹2.03 crore.

Subscription Status and IPO Size

The IPO got good attention from investors. By the third day at 14:04 IST, the subscription stood at 1.59 times overall. The retail side showed the most demand, subscribed 2.11 times, while non-institutional investors booked 1.11 times.

The qualifi institutional buyers portion was subscribed once. In total, the company received 19,80,000 bids against 12,42,000 shares on offer, according to chittorgarh.com.

The IPO includes a fresh issue of 13.08 lakh equity shares. At the top price of ₹149, the company plans to raise ₹19.5 crore. Out of this, ₹9.5 crore will go to working capital, ₹4.4 crore will be used to buy plant and machinery, ₹1.32 crore will repay debts, and the rest will go toward general corporate purposes.

Grey Market Trend

In the grey market, the shares are not showing extra value. The Rachit Prints IPO GMP today is at ₹0, which means the shares are trading equal to their issue price of ₹149 without any premium or discount. Data from investorgain.com shows that in the past eleven days, the GMP has ranged from ₹0 to ₹21, but the trend is now moving downward and experts feel it may fall more.
