The Bhartiya Janta Party in an attempt to overcome anti-incumbency and to showcase the achievements of Vasundhara Raje’s government, the state unit of BJP has adopted a traditional way of Rajasthan to reach out to the public. As per the reports, the state BJP is hiring around 250 professional drama troupes to extend the message of Vasundhara’s government achievements among the voters.
The auditions of the troupes are going on and chairman of Sangeet Natak Academy Ashok Pandey is heading the whole program and selected troupes will start working from the end of October. He said that “Presently, the audition of the drama troupes is being held at the party headquarters in Jaipur, to select the troupes which will be deputed at different cities in the coming days.”
According to reports, troupes would be mainly deployed in the rural areas and will update the public of the flagship schemes of the Raje government like the Bhamashah health scheme. ‘Lok Natya’ is a traditional and popular art form of Rajasthan, which would be performed by troupes.
