Realme has been teasing about periscope cameras on its X (formerly Twitter) handle for the past few days. It has now been confirmed by Realme that the Realme 12 Pro series 5G will be available in the Indian market shortly. Realme has also created a dedicated microsite on its official website for its 12 Pro series. In place of last year’s Realme 11 Pro series, the Realme 12 Pro series will serve as the successor.
The Realme 12 Pro series is set to debut this month
Earlier this month, Realme India shared a teaser on its X account revealing the Realme 12 Pro series 5G will debut in the country this month. Since the brand is teasing series, the lineup will likely consist of the Realme 12 Pro 5G and Pro+ 5G variants. With the hashtag #PeriscopeOver200MP, Realme is hinting at the upcoming offerings. However, it remains to be seen if both devices will feature periscope lenses. Realme appears to be poking fun at the recently unveiled Redmi Note 13 Pro phone, which features a 200MP camera sensor.

The Realme 12 Pro series 5G will also be available from Flipkart. However, no more details have been revealed about the upcoming offerings. However, more teasers are expected to come shortly.

According to previous reports, the Realme 12 Pro+ would have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor, while the Realme 12 Pro would likely have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor. It is anticipated that the former will feature 64MP OmniVision OV64B periscopes with 3x optical zoom, while the Pro will feature 32MP telephoto lenses.
