Redmi, sub-brand of a popular Chinese smartphone brand, Xiaomi, launched its latest offering, the Redmi Note 8 Pro, today in India. Redmi Note 8 Pro is being famed to pack along a quad-camera setup with the primary 64MP camera and a 20MP selfie camera.

Redmi Note 8 Pro: Design And Display
Redmi Note 8 Pro features a 6.53-inch IPS LCD display at full-HD+ 1080×2340 pixels with an aspect ratio of 19:59, the sharp density of 395 PPI, and Redmi Note 8 Pro will have smaller bezels than those on the Note 8 with Xiaomi claiming the bottom bezel to be just 4.2 mm thick.

Redmi Note 8 Pro comes packed with a new gaming-focused Mediatek’s Helio G90T, which makes it the first smartphone to feature the new chip. This also makes it the first Note series phone to feature a MediaTek chipset. Redmi Note 8 Pro will also feature an octa-core processor setup consisting of a 2.05GHz Cortex A76 dual-core and a 2GHZ Cortex A55 hexacore processors. It also comes with Mali-G76 MP4 GPU for the graphics and an added Game Turbo 2.0 gaming mode.
Furthermore, Redmi Note 8 Pro is the first phone by Redmi to arrive with a liquid cooling chamber to offset the expected heating from the gaming chipset. Redmi Note 8 Pro will come in a single variant with 6GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage that can be further expanded up to 256GB using a microSD card. Redmi Note 8 Pro is powered by a 4,500mAh battery and supports the same 18W quick-charging as the Note 8.

Redmi Note 8 Pro runs on Android Pie with the company’s MIUI 10 on top. It offers support for 4G VoLTE networks, Wi-Fi 802.11, b/g/n, Mobile Hotspot, Bluetooth, GPS with A-GPS, Glonass, USB Type-C, 3.5mm audio jack, IR blaster, and more.
Redmi Note 8 Pro: Price
The Redmi Note 8 Pro will be available in three variants of 6GB+64GB, 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB that will retail for INR 14,999, INR 15,999 and INR 17,999 respectively. The phone will go on sale from October 21 on Amazon.
