Renowned Odisha singer Humane Sagar joins BJD

Bhubaneswar: With weeks away from the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections, BJD has received a big boost. Celebrated Ollywood singer Humane Sagar joined the Odisha’s ruling party Biju Janata Dal (BJD) in the presence of party chief and the state Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.

Titlagarh born Indian playback singer, the winner of “Voice of Odisha Season 2”, belongs to a family of musicians. His father was a singer who used to sing in programmes aired on radio, while his mother is also a popular singer and lyricist. His grandfather was a Music Director.

Since childhood Sagar was interested in singing and had participated at various state level singing competitions. He rose to fame when he won the Tarang TV hosted “Voice of Odisha” in 2012.

Earlier in a political maneuver Former Union minister and senior Congress party leader Killi Kruparani on Thursday joined YSRCP in the presence of the party chief Y S Jaganmohan Reddy at the party office in Hyderabad. Film actor Narne Srinivasa Rao whos is Junior NTR’s father-in-law also joined Jaganmohan Reddy’ party. Jaganmohan asked both of them to work for the party’s victory in the elections.
