After Abhay Deol criticized celebs from Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone to Sonam Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor and John Abraham for endorsing fairness creams, actor Sushant Singh Rajput has expressed his opinion on the same.
“As responsible actors, or responsible citizens we should not in anyways endorse or prefer one skin tone over another,” the actor said.
When asked about the nepotism, the actor said, “All the films that I did and will be doing in the next one and half years are the films that I really wanted to do. I had many options and I had the luxury to choose. So from personal point of view I cannot complain. Having said that it is not like (nepotism) is not there it is there everywhere in all sorts of industries and not just Bollywood.”
In the meantime, the actor has also established that his most talked about film ‘Paani’ with Shekhar Kapoor is not happening. However, he admitted that the filmmaker did bring changes in his viewpoint towards the world.
Sushant was talking at the trailer launch of his upcoming film ‘Raabta.’ In the film, he has been starred opposite Kriti Sanon. The film marks the directorial debut of producer Dinesh Vijan and will release on June 9.
