Sabarmati-Gurgaon Vande Bharat Express: Indian Railways has started a brand-new Vande Bharat Express running between Sabarmati in Gujarat and Gurgaon in Haryana. This train is part of the railways’ plan to give passengers faster, easier, and more comfortable travel across the country. Right now, the train will operate as a one-way special service. The Western Railway (WR) zone will run and maintain the train.

The train promises a modern travel experience with the comfort of India’s semi-high-speed Vande Bharat trains. Sabarmati-Gurgaon Vande Bharat Express Transforms Travel Experience
The train will run via Jaipur, one of Rajasthan’s most famous cities. It will make stops at eight key stations along the route:
- Mahesana Junction
- Palanpur
- Abu Road
- Marwar Junction
- Ajmer
- Jaipur
- Alwar
- Rewari
Journey Schedule
According to reports, the Sabarmati–Gurgaon Vande Bharat Special, train number 09401, starts its commercial journey on Sunday, October 5. To begin with, it will run only for two days, on October 5 and 6. The train covers 897 km in about 14 hours and 55 minutes.
Passengers can leave Sabarmati in the evening and reach Gurgaon early the next morning, enjoying a comfortable overnight journey. On these days, the train will depart Sabarmati at 5:30 pm and arrive in Gurgaon at 8:25 am.

There are two different seating classes available on the Vande Bharat Express:
- AC Chair Car: ₹2,250
- Executive AC Chair Car: ₹4,145
The train passes through important cities like Jaipur and Ajmer, giving passengers opportunities to explore Rajasthan while making travel quicker and more convenient. It connects western India with the northern region and adds to the growing network of semi-high-speed trains in the country.
The Vande Bharat Express comes with fully air-conditioned coaches and cozy seating to make long-distance travel enjoyable. Passengers in the Executive AC class get more better seating and a luxury travel experience.
