Punjab deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal on Wednesday claimed the SAD-BJP combine will win more seats in the 2017 polls as compared to 2012.

“The combine will form the government with a thumping majority,” Badal said.

He said the Congress candidates would forfeit their deposits and AAP would get only six to seven seats.

He added that Congress had not done anything for the state and said the party was full of discarded politicians who have been repeatedly rejected by people.

“When Sidhu was rejected by all parties, he had no other option but to join the Congress. It has become a party of discarded leaders, and those who are not getting tickets from their respective parties are joining the Congress,” Badal said.

“They would have no impact on the coming assembly polls in the state,” he added.

Badal said that if elected the SAD-BJP would provide sewerage to all 12,000 villages of the state.

He also said that their government would provide lakhs of jobs to the youth in the coming five years and they would not have to go to abroad for jobs, The Tribune reported.
