Salman Khan is wondering why Priyanka Chopra Jonas is doing this thing after marriage

Salman Khan’s production venture, Notebook, is gearing up for release. The actor is launching two new faces in Bollywood- Zaheer Iqbal and Pranutan Bahl. During the last leg of promotions, Khan sat to interact with media and made some interesting revelations. Apart from talking about the debutants and Notebook, Salman opened up about Tubelight’s failure, his direction plans, producing web series and many more things. When asked about the relevance of notebooks in the age of dating apps like Tinder, the actor had a response to it as well. He immediately replied, “Why only Tinder, and not Grindr?”

Further, when he was asked about Bumble, a dating app launched by Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Salman Khan initially quipped and asked who launched the app. On knowing that is PeeCee’s app, he joked and wondered why did the actress launch a dating app, as she recently got married. “Kya zaroorat hai?” Salman wondered.

The two actors were supposed to star in Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bharat but Priyanka backed out of the film at the eleventh hour. Post that, it was speculated that Salman was upset with PeeCee’s last minute decision to opt out of the film. However, the Dabangg actor put all the rumors to rest when he arrived at Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’ wedding reception. Interestingly, Salman was among the first celebrities to have arrived for her wedding party.

Although, recently when Priyanka Chopra Jonas was apparently being considered as the female lead opposite Salman in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film, Salman had reportedly expressed apprehensions which suggested that he is still upset with her due to the Bharat fallout. Now, looks like, everything is fine between the two.

At present, Priyanka is making her B-town comeback with Shonali Bose’s film, The Sky Is Pink. PeeCee has reunited with her Dil Dhadakne Do co-star Farhan Akhtar for the film. Zaira Wasim of Dangal will be seen playing the role of their daughter in Bose’s directorial. The Sky Is Pink releases on October 11, 2019.

Meanwhile, Salman’s production, Notebook, is set to open in cinemas on March 29. The film clashes with Vidyut Jammwal starrer Junglee. Talking about Salman Khan’s acting project, Bharat, it will release on Eid this year. The actor stars alongside Katrina Kaif, Jackie Shroff, Disha Patani, Nora Fatehi, and Sunil Grover among others in the film.
