Seemanchal Express derailment: CRS Latif Khan to probe after seven killed, ten injured in Bihar

The Train derailment has led to 6 lives and about 10 people injured.

After the Seemanchal express derailment, which took at least six lives and injured around 10 people, the railway general manager, Lalit Chandra has assured that Latif Khan who is the railway safety commissioner will conduct an inquiry of the whole incident that happened. The inquiry will follow derailment of nine coaches of Jogbani-Anand Vihar Terminal Seemanchal express near the Vaishali district.

The district manager of the Rajiv Raushan has said that for the further journey of the passenger’s arrangements have been made as they will first be taken to the Hajipur from the undamaged compartment and from their further arrangements would be made for the rest of the journey.

He also said that that 10 people were injured in the mishap and windowpanes of the AC coaches were broken for the rescue of the passengers. It seems that no other passenger is stuck in the train and everyone has been rescued. The injured passenger was immediately taken to the hospital and the administration is given full support to carry out all the rescue operation for the safety of the passenger.

Chief minister Nitish Kumar has extended his condolences for the people who lost their lives in the accident and has ordered the administration to carry out the rescue operation on an immediate basis.
