Shah Rukh Khan and Sujoy Ghosh collaborated as producer and director on the film Badlaa, starring Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu. In multiple capacities, the duo will now reunite for this film. It’s an action thriller, and other details are being kept secret for the time being. Even Sujoy is excited to investigate a new genre as a director, according to a source with knowledge of the situation.
Regarding the partnership between Red Chillies and Marflix, the source asserts that Shah Rukh Khan is a producer who enjoys mounting films on a scale that can compete with international standards and has the vision to create original action sequences. “Siddharth Anand is known for his action films, and SRK is working with the director to create large action sequences for the film. The goal is to create an uncompromised cinematic experience using the finest resources,” said the source.
The Sujoy Ghosh-directed film will commemorate Suhana Khan’s theatrical debut.
Suhana Khan will make her big-screen debut in the as-yet-untitled action thriller; she has already completed work on her digital debut, The Archies, directed by Zoya Akhtar.
The screentime of Shah Rukh Khan’s character in this Sujoy Ghosh-directed film is anticipated to be comparable to Dear Zindagi, though the script is still being revised. Speaking of Shah Rukh Khan, following the completion of this home production, he will reunite with Siddharth Anand in 2024, when the latter will direct India’s largest action film, Tiger v/s Pathaan. In 2024, the untitled Sujoy Ghosh film will be a major theatrical release.
