Wouldn’t t be amazing to see two of the biggest actors of the Indian entertainment industry join hands for a web series? Well, you are in luck as Kabir Singh fame Shahid Kapoor and Vijay Sethupathi join hands for an upcoming action thriller web series which is said to be out by 2021.
However the title has not been officially confirmed by the actors, it is being reportedly said that the title would be Gavar, which in English translated to being illiterate.
The movie will be shot across Mumbai and Goa and is being helmed by GO Goa Gone fame Raj Nidimoru, Raj and DK, and will be starring both the actors in lead. The actors would be starting the web series soon and will most likely finish it by April 2021.
On the work front, Vijay Sethupathi has more than 10 films in line. 2021 would surely be a busy year for the actor. Some of his upcoming films would be- Kadaisi Vivasayi, Uppena, Master, Navarasa, Maamanithan, Laabam, Tughlq Durbar, Yaadhum Oore Yaavarum Kelir, and also the actor would be making his debut into Bollywood with Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor starrer Lal Singh Chaddha next year.
On the other hand, Shahid Kapoor has only one project in hand for 2021, which is a remake of south film Jersey, based on sports drama, for which the shoot has been completed. He was recently offered a film Yoddha with Disha Patani being backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Production but due to creative differences, the actor left the movie.
Talking about the Karan Johar backed film Yoddha opposite Disha Patani, it is being said Shahid Kapoor left the movie due to creative differences but moreover that after Kabir Singh’s success, Shahid Kapoor has become arrogant and brash and was not even giving dates for shooting properly. The action drama starrer Yoddha will now be searching for another male lead, the names have not been confirmed yet.
