Speaking on the occasion, the state President of Minority Department Mujeeb Quereshi said, “we want to ensure maximum participation of youth in state politics, especially those who have the intent of working for the welfare of public. Shailendra has been working with us for quite some time now and we know what he is capable of.”
Dr. Sial currently holds the position of Vice President in the minority department of Madhya Pradesh Congress.
He specializes in the domain of digital marketing and is a PhD in management. He comes with vast a professional experience and has also worked at various levels within the Congress party before joining the minority department.
Dr. Sial said, “I thank the central and state leadership for giving me this opportunity and I will make sure to deliver results as per the expectations of Mujeeb bhai. My aim is to make people in the minority community aware about the policies of our party and motivate them to work for the secular and democratic India.”
BJP lost Madhya Pradesh in 2018 election. However, the conditions were not favorable for Congress government due to friction between Kamal Nath and Jyotiraditya Scindia. Finally, Scindia along with his 25 MLAs revolted and walked out of the government. Later on in by-election, Congress faced defeat and BJP was back in power.
