Sheroes Hangout Cafe Lucknow: SC gives stay order of 9 months to the acid attack survivors

The Supreme Court of India gives 9 months of stay order for shutting down the Sheroes Hangout Café Lucknow. The SC has also directed the Allahabad High court to depose the case within nine months.

Anshu Rajpoot an acid attack survivor and one of the petitioners in the case was present in the Supreme Court with her friends were ecstatic about the decision.

Anshu says, “It was the conflict between truth and lies and we are happy that truth is being heard by the highest court of India.”

The government officials see no reason to run this café and hence given this excuse to them. The Sheroes project has received ‘Nari Shakti Award’ by the president of India and has also acknowledged globally for the uniqueness of bringing help to the acid attack survivors.
