Ayushmann Khurrana and Jitendra Kumar starrer entertains the audience with all the humour and talked openly about homophobia, thus the film also recorded a healthy weekend which gave a big shot to the film. The film marked Rs 12 Crore on its third day and is running ahead of Vicky Kaushal starrer Bhoot Part One The Haunted Ship.
Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan opened with Rs 9.55 crore on Friday and went on to make Rs 11.08 crore on Saturday. On Sunday it earned Rs 12 crore, Thus crossing the Rs 32 crore-mark in just three days of release.
In the film, Ayushmann is playing the character of a gay man with his co-actor Jitendra Kumar and the two are fighting with the stereotype of the society and thus makes understand the elderly group about the homophobia.
Jitendra played an introvert guy, Aman, in love with Kartik. The film boasts of a number of acclaimed actors like Gajraj Rao and Neena Gupta. The pair are playing Aman’s parents in the film. With Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan Ayushmann reunited with his Badhaai Ho parents- Gajraj and Neena.
