- Sidharth made his TV debut in 2008 with Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na but rose to fame after he played a pivotal role in Balika Vadhu.
- The actor even went on to participate in Jhalak Dhikla Ja where he showcased his dancing skills. Again, he participated in Khatron Ke Khiladi 7. He was declared a winner for KKK7 despite getting eliminated early on. This was perhaps the first time that a contestant who got eliminated and returned as a wild card won the season.
- He later went on to make his Bollywood debut with Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt starrer Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania where his role got him a lot of appreciation.
- Sid also featured in Dil Se Dil Tak where he was seen opposite Rashami Desai and Jasmin Bhasin. This was his last fiction show.
- Apart from acting, dancing and performing stunts, Sidharth also turned host for Saavdhaan India and India’s Got Talent.
