Sona Mohapatra who earlier accused singer Kailash Kher of misappropriate behaviour, demanded the Delhi government to revoke the Mayur Utsav invitation they had extended to Kher.
In a petition, she submitted to change.org, Mohapatra wrote, “I am shocked to learn that Kailash Kher has been asked to headline a performance at the Delhi Government’s Mayur Utsav that begins today. Action needs to be taken against perpetrators.”
In a tweet to Aam Aadmi Party, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, Mohapatra said, “Multiple #women including minors have come out in the public with their #MeToo stories against this predator, Kailash Kher & u choose to rub this kind of insult to injury? Do u care so little for 50% of ur population?”.
