  • Arundhati

Arundhati, a horror film, had a queen battling off an evil mystic force and three generations later, the force comes back to haunt the queen’s descendants. Directed by Kodi Ramakrishna, the film starred popular South actress Anushka Shetty, Sonu Sood and Divya Nagesh in the lead roles. Sonu played the antagonist Pasupathi in the film, which got him pretty famous.

  • Dabangg

Sonu was seen playing the role of the villain Chedi Singh and the strength and power he displayed is still spoken about.

  • Singh Is King

Directed by Aneez Basmee, the film stars Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, and Sonu among others. The actor does not exactly play a villain in this one but essays the role of a negative character of the King who engages in extorting money from the people and is feared by all. The movie is cherished by the audience even today.

  • Simmba

Sonu Sood’s last release as the villain was Simba with Ranveer Singh, in which he played the role of Dhruv Ranade whose calm face and cool voice with tough looks were too hard to handle.

  • R Rajkumar

In this film, he became the hardcore villain Shivraj Gujjar who could go to any extent for his passion. Shahid Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha were seen in the main lead with him in R Rajkumar.
