What to do if you don’t get your payment?
Delays in payments are rare, but they can occur. The Social Security Administration (SSA) recommends waiting three business days before taking any steps. If your payment is still missing after that, start by checking with your bank. If it’s not there, you can call, email, or visit a local SSA office to speak with a representative.
Keep in mind that October 9 marks just the first round of SSDI payments for the month! Make sure to monitor your account to ensure you receive the total amount you’re supposed to get!
