Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu who was in news for leading the group of regional parties to form an alliance against the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), now his government in the state has decided to build the State Assembly Building the Tallest one, 68 meters taller than Statue of Unity; which was recently inaugurated by PM Modi in respect of ‘Iron Man of India’ Sardar Ballabh Bhai Patel.
Chief Minister office has reportedly finalised the blueprint design by an architect Norma Fosters of Britain, who have designed the spiral tower of 250 meters in the sky.
Suddenly it appears that Statue of Unity has created a race of building the tallest structures, in which Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Aditya Nath had already announced his plans to build a Lord Rama Statue of 201 meters and, Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumara Swamy has also showed interest in building a statue of Mother Cauvery claiming to be 125 feet tall.
Interestingly, India will have it’s the tallest statue of Lord Shiva which is being built in Rajasthan. The construction work is reportedly 85% completed. The structure is expected to be ready by November 2019. It is likely to be inaugurated by March 2019.
Maharashtra’s Devendra Fadnavis led BJP government missing no opportunities has announced to build a statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji, the Maratha ruler, who fought against Mughals and ruled the state. The Structure is 212 meters long.
