Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior is a special film as it marks the reunion of real-life couple Ajay Devgn and Kajol. Also, it happens to be the 100th film of Ajay.
The movie which released on January 10 alongside another mega-budget film by Meghna Gulzar, Chhapaak has opened with a humongous response at the box office.
Tanhaji is running in 3880 screens in India and 660 overseas. The film has minted Rs 15.10 crore on the first day of its release.

Ajay is seen as brave Maratha warrior Tanhaji Malusare in the film. He fought the Battle of Sinhagad against Udaybhan Singh Rathod (Saif Ali Khan). Kajol is seen in the role of Tanhaji’s wife Savitribai Malusare. It also stars Saif Ali Khan in lead. The film is helmed by Om Raut.
