Tata Nexon EV is set to launch in India today. Tata Nexon EV is Tata’s second electric vehicle in the country after Tata Tigor EV. The introduction of the new Nexon EV comes at a time when there is a major push towards the introduction of electric vehicles in India.
Tata Motors is one of the busiest automobile companies in 2020 with as many as four launches under its name. Only last week carmaker launched the all-new Tata Altroz 2020, Tata Nexon 2020, Tata Tigor 2020. Tata Nexon EV 2020 is the fifth car belonging to the company.
The bookings for the car commenced on December 20, 2020, for a token amount of Rs 21,000. The Nexon electric vehicle is an addition to the country’s Electric vehicle portfolio that currently has some great formidable players like Hyundai Kona and MG ZS EV.
