Seat-sharing deal among partners of the grand alliance in Telangana has been finalised. Grand alliance led by Congress includes Telugu Desam Party (TDP), Telangana Jana Samithi (TJS) and the Communist Party of India (CPI).

As per the agreement, Congress will contest on 93 seats, TDP 14, TJS 8 and CPI 3, for the 119-member Telangana assembly, said AICC in-charge of Telangana affairs R C Khuntia on Thursday evening. Congress has finalised candidates for 74 constituencies till now, Khuntia added.

The TRS and the BJP are going alone in the elections and anti-incumbency is evident in the state, sources claimed. Voting will take place on December 7 and results will be announced on December 11.
