The much-awaited first look of the ‘The Intern’ remake is finally out on Monday. Big B Amitabh Bachchan has taken over the role of late Rishi Kapoor. The film also stars Deepika Padukone in the lead role.
The Intern is a Hollywood comedy-drama released in 2015. The film features Robert De Niro, Anne Hathaway, and Rene Russo in the lead. The Nancy Meyers directorial received a positive response from the critics and the audience for the performances of the lead cast and the storyline.
Sharing a poster which featured the silhouettes of Padukone and Big B, Deepika wrote that she is honoured to be collaborating once again with her most ‘special co-star’ Amitabh Bachchan. The text read, “What an absolute honour to be collaborating with one of my most special co-star again! Welcoming @amitabhbachchan to the Indian adaptation of #TheIntern.”
