Sumona Chakravarti, actor of The Kapil Sharma Show (TKSS) fame, has reacted to reports of her marriage with Samrat Mukerji. She said that this is rubbish in an interview and insists this is 10-year old stories.
Samrat is the son of Rono Mukerji and the brother of Sharbani Mukerji. He is also the cousin of popular actors, Kajol and Rani Mukerji, as well as film director Ayan Mukerji.
According to ETimes, Sumona said, “Oh, God! I can’t believe this. These are old stories from social media. This is nonsense. To be honest, no comment because I don’t like to talk about my personal life. If anything changes then you all will get to know about it. When I have something important to say then I’ll tell you.”
Sumona responded to the media. “He’s just a friend, nothing more. I don’t speak with the media about my friends or family and I want it that way.” When asked about her wedding, she said, “I think I have answered your question.”
A few years ago, speaking about Samrat, Sumona told Times of India, “Where is the time to date or hang out with him? He is busy making films in Kolkata and I meet him only for five days during Durga Puja in Mumbai. He is a family friend and that’s it. We don’t meet or talk to each other often.”
“Samrat Mukerji” shared a tiger photo in his latest post. He captioned the photo, “Peeping Tom,” and added the hashtags tiger, tigers, Tadoba National Park, jungle, and Samrat.
