The Tamil Nadu Civil Supplies Corporation (TNCSC) has invited applicants to apply for the recruitment for the post of assistant engineer civil, assistant engineer mechanical, assistant engineer electrical, and assistant engineer computer. There are 17, 2, 2, and 2 vacant seats for each post respectively.
TNCSC published the AE recruitment 2019 notification in print media. Therefore, the candidates can apply for the posts by visiting the official website of TNCSC, tncsc.tn.gov.in on or before December 13, 2019.
Candidates with a bachelor in engineering are eligible, and specifically, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electronics engineering are respective requirements for AE civil, AE mechanical, and AE electrical. Those with engineering in computer science, as well as information technology can apply for the AE computer post.
Exam and interview dates will be announced later. Whereas TNCSC recruitment notifications related to exam dates are always made available on the official website.
Assistant engineer post is eligible for pay matrix level 16 i.e., Rs 36,400 to Rs 1,15,700.
Recently, TNCSC has also released the application form for assistant post and declared the exam date for shift engineer which will be held on November 24, 2019, from 10 AM to 12 noon.
How to apply for TNPSC AE recruitment 2019
- Candidates are required to download the application form from tncsc.gov.in
- Then, take a print out of it, and fill the form
- Attach the self-attested xerox copies of required documents, and 2 recent passport size photographs need to be sent to the address mentioned in the notification –

The various details to be filled in the form include post applied for, advertisement number and date, name of candidate, gender, date of birth, age as on 1st July of the year 2019, father’s name, mother’s name, marital status, spouse name, place of birth, mother tongue, other languages known, nationality, religion, address for communication, permanent address, educational qualifications, mobile number, email address.
