Today is World Photography Day: Here are 10 photographs that changed the world

Photography is something which captures a moment that’s gone forever, which is impossible to reproduce. Photographs have played a vital role in how we look at our history, our culture. Photography has been a powerful tool for the documentation of some of the world changing events and then there are some photographs that have so much impact that they changed the perspective of the world forever. August 19 is celebrated as the World Photography Day which originated from the invention of the Daguerreotype, a photographic process developed by Frenchmen Louis Daguerre and Joseph Nicephore Niepce in 1837.
