The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) will hopefully conduct the UP-Board Exam 2021 between April-May 2021. Deputy CM and Secondary Education Minister Dinesh Sharma said that the dates of the 10th and 12th board examinations will depend on the state’s upcoming panchayat elections.
The state government had reduced the syllabus for classes IX to XII by 30 percent due to non-regular classes of students due to the global pandemic COVID-19 (Coronavirus).
Pre-board exam between January 15 and January 25
A meeting has been convened by the state government with senior officers on the dates of board examinations in which dates will be finalized. The order issued by District Inspector of Schools (DIoS), Mukesh Kumar Singh said that the pre-board examination for high school and intermediate students in the district has been scheduled between January 15 and January 25, 2021.
The second pre-board will start from March 1 and end on March 10, 2020.
30 percent reduction in class 9 to 12 syllabus
The state government had reduced the syllabus of classes IX to XII by 30 percent due to non-regular classes of students amid global pandemic COVID-19 (Coronavirus).
The remaining 70 percent of the syllabus has been divided into three parts, the deputy CM said. The first part had online teaching and lessons through Doordarshan. The second part was self-study and the third is project work.
The last date of application extended
Notably, the UPMSP has extended the last date for applying for UP Board Exam 2021 till January 5, 2021. Students who wish to appear for the exam can apply through the link provided on the official website of the department. In fact, in view of the rising corona cases in UP, it has been decided to extend the last date of application.
