UP Police Constable 2018 Final Result: UPPRPB declares result for 49568 posts, check direct link

Out of the total selected candidates, 31360 (25394 Males and 5966 Female) will join civil police and 18208 will join Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC).

Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) is out with the final result of the direct recruitment on 49568 posts of constables in police and Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC) today.

Out of the total selected candidates, 31360 (25394 Males and 5966 Female) will join civil police and 18208 will join Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC).

Around 1.23 lakh candidates cleared the written exam and were called for the inspection of their academic records and physical standard test. Out of which, 49568 cleared the final round of physical test and document verification.

The written examination for the post of constable was held on 27-28 January 2019, the result of the same was out in November 2019. There was a number of 1,23,921 candidates cleared the examination and were able to go up for the next round of inspection of academic records and physical standard test.

The list of final successful candidates is announced on the basis of their merit.

The recruitment board will now send the list of successful candidates to the police headquarters. The training of the final candidates will begin from August 2020 at the training centres at the district levels.
The Director-General Training, Sujan Vir Singh said that the selected candidates will be sent for training as per the existing vacancies at the centre.

“The duration of constabulary is six months and it is done at training centres in police lines at the district level,” Singh said.

The training centres for the state are in Moradabad, Unnao, Sitapur, Gorakhpur, Mirzapur, Jalaun, Meerut and Sultanpur.
