UPMSP UP Board class 10, 12 results 2020: The result of Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) or UP Board class 10th and 12th is less than 10 days away. After the result declared, it will be available at the official websites — upmsp.edu.in, upresults.nic.in and upmspresults.up.nic.in.
The UP Board class 10 exams concluded on March 3, class 12 exams were ended by March 6. More than 59.6 lakh students take the inter and matric exams. This year, there has been so much delay in the declaration of the result due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Last year, around 80.7 per cent students passed the UP Board class 10 examination hence, this was an increase of 4.5 per cent from 2018 when as many as 75.16 per cent students cleared the exam.
Moreover, in UP Board class 12 result 2019, 70.2 per cent students passed the exam however, this was a dip from 72.43 per cent in 2018.
Passing marks for the exam:
According to the rules issued by the UP Board, students have a minimum of 35 per cent marks to pass a subject examination.
If a student is not able to pass the exam or scored below than required percent, they will be given an opportunity to take compartment test. The dates of compartment exams are yet to be announced.
Over the past year’s trends, the supplementary exam details will be released only after the result is announced.
