In a shocking turn of events, two unidentified assailants on Monday shot dead two persons inside a residential society in Bisrakh area in Uttar Pradesh’s Greater Noida, police said.
According to the police the incident happened at around 9 pm when two persons entered the society and shot fires at two people sitting in a car.
The victims, identified as Dalchand Sharma and Arun Tyagi, were sitting in the car when the incident took place inside Ajnara Le Garden Society in Bisrakh area. Around four people came in a white coloured Scorpio SUV and opened fire at both of them. Around 20 rounds were fired in which Dalchand received five bullet injuries. His friend also received bullet injuries.
While Dalchand ran a property dealing office in the residential compound of the same society, Arun also dealt in the business of properties. Police said Dalchand died on the spot. Arun died late night during the treatment in the hospital. Both lived in Bisrakh area with their families.
“At around 9 pm, two persons entered society and shot dead two others who were sitting in a car. Efforts are on to identify the accused,” Harish Chandra, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Central Noida, told ANI.
Police said it is a case of personal enmity.
