Paying regards to the Kanwariyas, Uttar Pradesh Director General of Police on Wednesday showered rose petals on them from helicopter. The video of Merut zone Officer Prashant Kumar along with his companion and Commissioner Chandra Prakash Tripathi is going viral on social media. They were accompanied by few other senior officials.
The video got flak to the haywire going Kanwariyas. A day before, another video of Kanwariyas went viral on social media where they could be seen going berserk on the roads in Delhi. In Delhi’s Moti Nagar a car brushed past them and the vehicle had to see the consequence.

The car was thrashed by Kanwariyas after the couple in the car got involved into an argument. There were 20 Kanwariyas who started to scourge the vehicle with their sticks and iron rods in the middle of the road.
