During an incident in Meerut on Friday night, police station in-charge of ‘Mohiuddinpur’ Sukhpal Singh Pawar was allegedly beaten by BJP councillor Munish Chaudhary. As per the sources, Sukhpal Singh, who went to a hotel named ‘Black Pepper’ for dinner and during an argument on delay in food, BJP leader along with the hotel staff beated him. As per the reports, a woman in the same hotel had also come to eat, when the food was delayed, the woman protested against the staff and had consumed alcohol before entering the hotel, sources claimed.
On this case, SSP Meerut Akhilesh Kumar said that the entire matter is being investigated on the basis of the video. So far, the investigation has revealed that Sukhpal Singh was assaulted. After the whole investigation, the police will take strict action against the accused.
