Volkswagen Tiguan Secures 5-Star Safety Rating: The latest version of the Volkswagen Tiguan has achieved the highest safety rating of 5 stars from Euro NCAP. This recognition solidifies the third generation of this popular Volkswagen model as one of the safest cars in its category. Among the elements considered were safety assistance, which examines standard driver aids, pedestrian safety, and kid protection.

Volkswagen’s new Tiguan arrived in Europe a few weeks ago, offering diesel, plug-in hybrid, and light petrol engines. Because of its excellent safety features, especially its Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), it was rated five stars by Euro NCAP. In terms of protecting adults and children, it scored well (88%), and in terms of keeping vulnerable road users safe, it scored well (84%).

A 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine and a seven-speed DSG automatic transmission equip the Volkswagen Tiguan in India. The engine produces 187bhp between 4,200rpm and 6,000rpm and 320Nm of torque between 1,500rpm and 4,100rpm. It also has all-wheel drive technology.

ID.4 is Volkswagen’s all-electric crossover that was recently revealed in India. VW has confirmed that the ID.4 will be available in India, but the launch date has not been announced. It will be Volkswagen’s first electric vehicle in India when it is introduced.

VW ID.4 EVs are available in various trims globally and are positioned below the ID.3 hatchback in Volkswagen’s global line-up. The ID.4 GTX was unveiled during Volkswagen’s annual brand conference in 2023.

The Volkswagen ID.4 debuts in India, set for release in the near future

Various versions of the Volkswagen ID.4 are available, including the entry-level model with 168 horsepower, the ID.4 Pro with 282 horsepower, and the GTX with 334 horsepower. A 77 kWh battery pack provides a range of 550 kilometers for the ID.4 Pro. In contrast, a 52 kWh battery pack offers a range of 342 kilometers. However, it is not yet known which versions of the ID.4 will be available in India
