After it was announced that Kangana Ranaut will be granted ‘Y’ category security on her arrival in Mumbai, the actor on Monday accused that the members of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) have “taken over” her office space, which is her production house Manikarnika Films, in Mumbai and that they will demolish the structure tomorrow.

Taking to Twitter, Ranaut posted a video alleging that BMC officials have forcefully entered the building and measuring everything. She said tomorrow they will demolish her ‘Manikarnika film office in Mumbai’.

“This is the office of Manikarnika film in Mumbai, which I have worked hard for fifteen years, I had only one dream in my life, whenever I become a filmmaker, I have my own office, but it seems that the time has come to break this dream. Suddenly, some BMC officials have come here today,” she said in a tweet in Hindi.

“They have forcefully taken over my office measuring everything, also harassing my neighbors when they retorted @mybmc officials used language like, “Wo joh madam hain, uski kartoot ka parinam sabko bharna hoga (everyone must pay for the lady’s behaviour). I am informed tomorrow they are demolishing my property”, she added.

The actor added, “I have all the papers, BMC permissions nothing has been done illegally in my property, BMC should send a structure plan to show the illegal construction with a notice, today they raided my place and without any notice tomorrow they demolishing entire structure.”

Kangana Ranaut and Shiv Sena got into the spat after the Bollywood actor called out Bollywood mafia and expressed that she sometimes fears for life. She had recently called out the anti-India posters like Azadi which were spotted in Mumbai and said how these things make Mumbai appear like Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir (PoK), the part of India illegally occupied by Kashmir. Following this, Shiv Sena’s Sanjay Raut called her a ‘haramkhor ladki’, and other Shiv Sena leaders asked her not to go back to Mumbai if she does not feel safe.

On Monday, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) also granted ‘Y’ category security to Kangana ahead of her return to Mumbai from her hometown in Himachal Pradesh, in light of her recent spat with Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut.
