WBPSC ADA recruitment 2023: Today, July 25, the West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) began accepting online applications for the position of Assistant Director of Agriculture in the West Bengal Agriculture Service (Administration) under the Department of Agriculture, Government of West Bengal. Candidates who qualify may submit their applications on the official website wbpsc.gov.in until August 17 at 3:00 PM.
The deadline for fee submissions via offline mode is August 18, 2023. The window for corrections will be accessible from August 25 to August 31 (until 3:00 PM). The recruitment campaign seeks to cover a total of 122 positions.
Eligibility Criteria
Age restriction: The applicant must not be older than 36 years old as of January 1, 2023. There are age limit exemptions for reserved category candidates.
Educational Qualifications:
A candidate must hold a four-year Bachelor’s degree in agriculture from an accredited university or institute. The capacity to read, write, and speak Bengali is a required qualification, but it is optional for candidates whose native language is Nepali. West Bengal agricultural conditions knowledge is desirable.
Application Fee
The application fee is Rs 210 plus service charges dependent on the candidate’s form of payment. The application charge is waived for SC/ST candidates of West Bengal and Persons with benchmark disabilities (PwBD) with a physical disability of 40% or more.

- Click “One-Time Registration” in the section titled “Candidate’s Corner”
- Complete the form with your personal and contact information, then generate your Enrollment Number.
- Enter the enrollment number and password
- Complete the application for the available position
- Uploading documents, paying the fee, and
- Download the application form to your computer for future reference
Selection Method
A preliminary assessment of application forms will be followed by an assessment Test administered in computer-based test (CBT) format. If required by the Commission, a physical interview will be conducted with candidates.
