West Bengal JEXPO Counselling Round 2 Seat Allotment Result: Round 2 of the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination for Polytechnics (JEXPO) seat allocation results were released on August 25. The West Bengal State Council of Technical & Vocational Education and Skill Development has updated the official website webscte.co.in with the JEXPO seat allocation status.
Candidates selected in the second round of JEXPO counselling are instructed to report to their assigned colleges with two copies of their allotment letter and other required documents to complete the admissions process. The reporting to institutions will occur between August 25 and August 29. Notably, there will be four phases of JEXPO counselling in 2023, with the final round consisting of spot counselling and admission. In accordance with the management quota, there will be a second round of admissions from 30 August to 30 September.
HOW TO CHECK THE WEST BENGAL JEXPO COUNSELLING 2023 ROUND 2 SEAT ALLOTMENT RESULTS
- Access the official website at webscte.co.in.
- Look for and select the link labelled “2nd Phase Allotment Result of JEXPO 2023” on the homepage.
- Enter the registered mobile number and password when a new page opens.
- On-screen will be the WB JEXPO Round 2 Seat Allotment Result 2023.
- View and save the WB JEXPO allocation result.
The JEXPO job openings list was published on September 5. Registration and selection completion for the round of spot admission will take place between September 5 and September 6. The spot admission result will be announced on September 7. On September 8 and 9, institutes will conduct ad hoc admissions. The deadline for management quota admissions is September 15.
West Bengal JEXPO counselling is available for candidates seeking admission to approximately 19,000 self-funded seats in various polytechnics throughout the state. In addition, the seat allocation is determined by the JEXPO merit score, available seats, and candidates’ stated preferences. Those who are offered seats in WB JEXPO 2023 counselling will have two options: accept the seat or choose auto-upgrade.
This year’s exam was administered on June 3. Last week, the results of the first round of seat allocation for the Vocational Lateral Entry Test (VOCLET) and Joint Entrance Examination for Polytechnics (JEXPO) counselling were released. Candidates who were allotted seats were required to pay a Rs 500 booking charge. A fee of Rs 2,000 is charged to those who have applied for auto-upgradation.
