Where has the trailer of ‘Accidental Prime Minister’ disappeared from YouTube?

Anupam Kher’s much much awaited film, The Accidental Prime Minister has made a return to the limelight, but for an unfavorable reason, yet again. Amid the row of controversies over the film, the leading actor Anupam Kher questioned the video streaming platform YouTube about why is the trailer not visible on the website when searched for.

In fact, when one searches for the trailer of “The Accidental Prime Minister” on YouTube, the user ends up getting The Accidental Prime Ministers interviews regarding the film.

With heavy disappointment, Anupam Kher who has impersonated former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in “The Accidental Prime Minister”, said, the trailer of the film is not easily available on YouTube. Taking to his official Twitter account, Kher said, “Dear YouTube, I am getting messages and calls that in parts of our country if you type, trailer of ‘The Accidental Prime Minister’, it is either not appearing or at 50th position. We were trending at No. 1 yesterday. Please help.”


Along with the tweet, the actor shared screengrabs of several people wondering why the trailer was removed. Kher’s tweet prompted many others to check as well. While the trailer has not been removed or “gone missing” from YouTube, it does not appear in the top 50 search results.
