In an unfortunate incident, popular Punjabi singer Diljaan Singh died in a road accident on Tuesday. He was 31. The accident took place while the singer was travelling in his Mahindra KUV 100 vehicle. from Jalandhar to Amritsar.
As per media reports, Diljan’s car crashed after hitting the divider.
He was rushed to a nearby private hospital where doctors declared him brought dead. Diljaan’s wife and children are in Canada.

A resident of Punjab’s Kartarpur, Diljaan shot to fame after his stint in a television reality show ‘Sur Kshetra’. Pitted against Nabeel Shaukat Ali from Pakistan, Diljaan emerged as the runner-up of the show. Bollywood music composer Himesh Reshamiya and Pakistani celebrated singer Atif Aslam was also the part of the show as judges.
Diljaan was all set to release his song ‘Tere Warga 2’. He shared the poster on his Instagram five days ago.
