Who is Dino James?
Through the song Loser, Dino James rose to prominence. He was influenced by Eminem, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dog and Co., and Kendrick Lamar. His rap is well-known for highlighting the difficulties of middle-class families. Born in 1991 in the village of Ghaoradongri, Madhya Pradesh. James fled his family at age 18 to pursue a career in music.
Before establishing a name for himself as a rapper, James tried his hand at acting, working with director and actor Pradeep Sarkar and appearing on numerous television programs. His life changed abruptly in 2016 when his debut single, Loser, became a success. The song was then uploaded to his YouTube channel.
James continued to work with Sony Music India to release compositions such as Unstoppable, Hancock, Maa, and Yaadein. In February of 2022, he collaborated with Def Jam Recordings India, whose roster includes Kanye West, Snoop Dog, and Jay Z, to release his debut album, D. James appeared as the squad leader on the rap reality program MTV Hustle 2.0 after the success of his album.
In his interview with Rolling Stone India, James discussed his alcoholism. He stated that he fought alcoholism for some time and beat it in 2015.
