10 Cocktail Recipes

Hot Toddy

The Ingredients

  • VS Cognac 45 millilitres
  • Jasmine Tea 125 millilitres
  • Star Anise 2
  • Cinnamon sticks 1 inch
  • Honey 10 millilitre
  • Lime juice 7.5 ml

The method:

  1. Steep the jasmine tea in 80-90C water for three minutes.
  2. Add the star anise, cinnamon, lime juice, and honey to your serving cup.
  3. Pour the brewed jasmine tea and Cognac into a mixing glass and combine.

Bailey’s Hot Chocolate


  • Milk 3 glasses Chocolate weighing 150 grammes
  • 45 millilitre of Bailey’s Irish Cream

The method:

  1. In a saucepan, warm the milk and stir in the chocolate pieces.
  2. Pour chocolate milk into a serving cup or tumbler once the chocolate has melted.
  3. Stir in Baileys Irish Cream. Garnish with chocolate morsels and whipped cream, and serve the delicious Bailey’s Hot Chocolate.

Hot Gin Punch:


  • 1 tablespoon of black peppercorns
  • 6 Cardamom
  • Sucrose 100 g
  • 125 ml water
  • 50 ml gin 100 ml hot water
  • 1 millilitre lemon juice

The method:

  1. Add fennel seeds, black peppercorns, and cardamom to a saucepan.
  2. Dry-roast for 30 seconds, or until the aroma is released.
  3. Bring sugar and water to a boil in a saucepan, then reduce heat and continue boiling for 5 minutes.
  4. Pour the gin and hot water into two serving glasses, then add one tablespoon of the spiced sugar syrup and lemon juice to taste.
  5. Garnish the Hot Gin Punch with a twist of lemon.

Mulled Cider


  • Dry apple cider 1 litre
  • Calvados 90 millilitres
  • Apple juice 200 millilitres
  • Brown sugar 75 grammes
  • Cloves
  • Citrus Zest
  • 4 Cassia stems
  • Two allspice berries and
  • Nutmeg

The method:

  1. Pour the cider, Calvados, apple juice, and sugar into a large saucepan over low heat to percolate.
  2. Add the spices and orange zest, bring to a simmer, and cook for 20-30 minutes on low heat.
  3. To serve, pour into glass pitchers.
  4. For freshness, you can fill the container with fresh cider at room temperature (approximately 60ml).
  5. This recipe for Mulled Cider is a great way to enjoy cider in a novel manner.

Double Oak Whisky Smash


  • Jim Beam Double Oak Whisky 2 portions
  • Half of a lemon Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Mint 7-8 Ounces crushed ice

The method:

  1. Add the mint, lemon, and sugar to a drink.
  2. Combine them until the sugar has dissolved.
  3. Shake the whisky for 30 seconds after pouring.
  4. Pour the cocktail into an Old Fashioned glass to serve.
  5. It is topped with pulverised ice and garnished with a mint sprig.

Mint Julep:


  • Grant’s Reputation 50 ml
  • Simple sugar syrup 10 ml
  • Lime juice 8-10 millilitre
  • Mint leaves

The method:

  1. Add the mint leaves, lime juice, and simple syrup to a glass and muddle them.
  2. Combine Grant’s Distinction with pulverised ice and stir.
  3. Decorate with a mint sprig.

The Milk Punch


  • 60 ml Brandy,
  • 10 ml Rum,
  • 20 ml Milk,
  • 30 ml Cream,
  • 60 ml Vanilla Extract,
  • 1 tsp Caramelised orange slice.

The method:

  1. Add brandy, rum, simple syrup, milk, cream, vanilla extract, and ice to a cocktail shaker and vigorously combine.
  2. If you want to be sophisticated, strain and pour into an Irish glass, and garnish with a caramelised orange slice.

Coffee Martini


  • 60 ml Smirnoff Vodka
  • Espresso coffee 30 ml
  • Coffee liqueur 30 ml
  • Sugar syrup 15 ml

The method:

  1. Shake vigorously vodka, coffee liqueur, espresso coffee, simple syrup, and ice in a cocktail shaker.
  2. Strain and pour into a serving glass, then decorate with coffee grounds.

Hot Apples with Spices


  • 750 ml Spicy Apple Juice
  • Cloves 2 Cardamom seeds
  • 2 Anise star
  • 2 Juniper fruit
  • Several orange peel segments
  • Hendrick’s Gin,
  • 150 ml Nutmeg, powdered

The method:

  1. Add the apple juice and seasonings to a saucepan and let them simmer for 15 to 20 minutes.
  2. Turn off the heat and add the Gin and stir well
  3. Strain and pour the cocktail into nutmeg-dusted serving glasses.

Rain Dance


  • Orange peel 45 millilitre
  • Bourbon 45 ml
  • Masala tea 45 ml
  • Sweet vermouth 15 ml

The method:

  1. Pour bourbon, masala tea, and sweet vermouth into a cocktail shaker, add ice, and mix vigorously.
  2. Strain the cocktail into an ice-filled serving glass and garnish with citrus peel.
