This Friday was graced by two big releases on the box office. On one hand, there was Kartik Aryan starrer Luka Chuppi which is off to a good start and is impressing the audience. The other is Sonchiriya that stars Sushant Singh Rajput and Bhumi Pednekar.
However, Sonchiriya got decent reviews but has not been able to put a hold on its box office numbers. The film opened with a collection of Rs 1.20 crore on its first day and everyone was expecting a rise on the weekend. But Trade analyst Taran Adarsh has revealed the Saturday figures of the film and it has fallen flat on the second day as well.
#SonChiriya falls flat on Day 2… Minimal growth on Sat is not good news at all, seals the fate… Fri 1.20 cr, Sat 1.50 cr. Total: ₹ 2.70 cr. India biz.

The second day of Sonchiriya has witnessed a minimal growth and has collected Rs 1.50 crore on Saturday, confirms trade analyst Taran Adarsh.
The film stars Sushant Singh Rajput, Bhumi Pednekar, Ranveer Shorey, Manoj Bajpayee and Ashutosh Rana. Manoj Bajpayee plays an excellent chief rebel while Bhumi plays a feisty woman on the run and has given a bold and strong performance despite men dominance in the movie.
Sonchiriya is helmed by Abhishek Chaubey and is unable to flatter the audience. However, the film can expect some growth on Sunday.
