Script writer Apurva Asrani alleges Kangana Ranaut for stealing his work

Versatile actor that she is, Kangana Ranaut is an example of a true self-made star. But allegations of the actor claiming credit for the works of noted film-maker Apurva Asrani is doing the rounds.

Asrani took to Facebook to express his disappointment. According to it, Asrani had efficiently written the script for Hansal Mehta’s upcoming movie Simran , weaving the plot to its finest. Kangana was elated to work in the movie and had readily agreed to it.  She made certain improvisations along with Mehta and the final script was ready in approximately a year and a half. Asrani was delighted to have penned the script, but felt cheated when he discovered that Kangana wanted to take credit for writing the script. She wanted her name to appear as a co-writer. Asrani became upset over the fact that his hard work and efforts had been of trifle importance and believed it was completely unjustified. Read his full post :
