Princess of Rewa, Mohena Kumari Singh’s wedding was a royal affair of 2019. Her wedding festivities pictures and videos were quick to go viral on social media. The Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai had also quit her popular show in order to focus on her married life.
While the actress is not new in the trolling league but she does manage to avoid a lot of them, she decided to hit back at one of them.
Mohena had posted a family picture from her wedding where the actress was hiding her face behind the veil, as per Rajputana traditions.

One of the users was quick to comment and criticize her for following ‘male-dominated traditions’. Mohena gave a befitting reply to her by saying, “even Christians have a veil when they marry…and so do Muslims … I guess they are all uneducated too ! It’s an age-old Rajput tradition that Rajput women follow when they get married. This was not forced upon me… I chose to do it [sic]”.

On the work front, Mohena has been actively posting pictures from her wedding and with her husband on social media. The actress was last seen playing the role of Keerthi in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and had quit the show as her wedding date was inching closer. Also, she was part of a popular vlog Rimorav which was separated owing to clashes between the members.
