Twitter Users Job Hunt Made Easy: It is no secret that Elon Musk’s goal for Twitter is to transform it into the X super app. He desires the platform to become a “everything app” similar to China’s WeChat. This is why you may have heard that Twitter is developing features that go beyond the realm of social media apps. One such newly discovered feature allows verified organisations to post job listings on Twitter profiles. This will benefit both companies and consumers seeking new employment opportunities, similar to LinkedIn.
Twitter Will Soon Begin Hiring for Verified Organisations
According to a tweet by app researcher Nima Owji (@app_researcher) and a report by TechCrunch, Twitter appears to be nearing the release of a new feature dubbed Twitter Hiring. According to reports, the new feature functions precisely as its name suggests. It is designed to help companies discover new talent and users find new employment opportunities.
Owji’s tweet includes a screenshot containing pertinent information. First, it is important to note that Twitter Hiring is a complimentary service for Verified Organisations. These are the businesses with a Golden verified emblem on the application. This feature will enable these businesses to post employment openings, highlight them on their profiles, and attract top candidates for available positions.
A verified organisation need only connect an Application Tracking System (ATS) or XML feed to the profile. Twitter will then be able to readily display the most recent job listings. Up to five Featured Jobs can be displayed on a company’s profile and will be visible to anyone who visits the profile.
The report indicates that when users click on a job listing, they will be redirected to the company’s website to complete additional steps, such as reviewing employment details and submitting an application. It appears that the Twitter profile will only display the job title and whether the position is remote or on-site.
